There are many great fundraising platforms that support broad causes. We’re different. Our mission is to provide direct, personalized help to people facing urgent medical hardship. Every week, we aim to support at least 5 individuals or families by spotlighting their stories and raising funds for their immediate needs.

UMASS & ME.
Hi, I am Mihir
I’m a senior Computer Science major at UMass Amherst, and I started this medical fundraising website during COVID-19 after realizing how many people were suddenly facing emergencies that went far beyond health alone—lost income, unexpected hospital bills, and families struggling to stay afloat.
At the time, I felt grateful to be safe with my family, but I couldn’t ignore the reality that millions of others didn’t have that same stability or support. I didn’t want to just read the news and feel bad; I wanted to build something that could genuinely help. That’s why I created this site: to make it easier for people who are going through a crisis to be seen, heard, and supported, and to connect them with others who are willing to help in a direct and meaningful way. Since those early COVID-focused days, the mission has expanded.
Today, the site includes dedicated sections for Accidents and Illness Support, so we can highlight a wider range of urgent situations and make it simpler for visitors to find causes they care about. I also created a UMass section because UMass is my home and my college community—this is where I’ve grown into who I am, and it matters to me that this platform can support students and families connected to campus as well.​
My motivation for creating and running Medical Fundraising is: the satisfaction of knowing that even a small platform can make a real difference when someone is going through the hardest moment of their life.
