Ffion Parry is 10 Years old and caught covid 3 weeks ago. Ffion lives in Amlwch. Sadly, ffion has had an extreme and adverse reaction to covid and is now at Alder Hey children's hospital with her mam. An infection started in her sinus has ended up in her brain meaning she has had to have an emergency operation to drain and reduce the infection levels in her head / brain.
Ffion is very unwell and undergoing additional tests in order to assess whether she needs another operation.
Having to temporarily live in Alder Hey for any family is a challenge. We are keen to support this family through raising funds in order to financially support them whilst they are in Alder Hey and for when they return home. As a community, we wish ffion a speedy and healthy recovery and can assure you every penny donated (less the go fund me % costs) will go directly to Ffion and her mam at this difficult time.
